Popcorn is already a crowd-pleaser, but a little Cavender’s Greek Seasoning turns it into the kind of snack people keep reaching for. It’s warm, savory, and smells so good you’ll get compliments before anyone even takes a bite. Make it quick with already-popped popcorn, or go all-in and season the oil so every kernel pops with flavor.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn (already popped or kernels to pop)

  • Cavender’s Greek Seasoning (to taste)

  • Oil (if popping on the stove, or if using an air popper and want seasoning to stick)

  • Optional: melted butter (for extra flavor and better seasoning cling)

You’ll Need

  • Large bowl (bigger than you think, popcorn gets wild)

  • Measuring spoon (optional)

  • Pot with lid (if popping on the stove)

Option 1: Season already-popped popcorn

This is the fast method, and it still tastes amazing.

  1. Pop your popcornUse microwave popcorn, an air popper, or leftover popcorn you already have. Pour it into a large bowl.

  2. Help the seasoning stickIf your popcorn is plain and dry, lightly mist or drizzle it with a little melted butter or a small splash of oil. You don’t need much, just enough to give the seasoning something to grab onto.

  3. Sprinkle and tossLightly sprinkle Cavender’s Greek Seasoning over the popcorn. Start small. You can always add more, but it’s hard to take it back.

Toss the popcorn well, then taste. Add another light dusting if you want more punch.

  1. EnjoyTake a second to appreciate that aroma. It’s part of the experience. Serve immediately and get ready for the “What did you put on this?” comments.

Option 2: Pop raw kernels in seasoned oil

This method builds the flavor into the popcorn from the start.

  1. Heat the oilAdd enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of a pot (medium heat works best). Sprinkle in a light dusting of Cavender’s Greek Seasoning and stir to combine.

  2. Test a few kernelsDrop in 2 to 3 kernels and cover with a lid. When they pop, your oil is ready.

  3. Add the popcorn kernelsPour in the rest of your kernels, cover, and gently shake the pot every so often to keep the seasoning and heat moving evenly.

  4. Listen for the popWhen the popping slows down to a few seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat and carefully pour the popcorn into a large bowl.

  5. Finish with a final sprinkleTaste first, then add a little more Cavender’s Greek Seasoning if you want it extra savory.

Easy Add-Ons (Optional but fun)

  • Butter + Greek Seasoning: Classic combo, extra rich

  • Parmesan: Adds a salty, cheesy bite

  • A pinch of cayenne: If you like a little heat

  • Lemon zest: Brightens everything up and plays great with Greek seasoning flavor
